Though the area is best known for the ever-impressive Farnham Castle (just a quick drive or swift walk from our front doors), it’s not all there is to be seen. Whether a day exploring Birdworld (home to 1200 species of birds and animals) fits your fancy or a more tranquil traipse through the trees is more your speed, we’re here to be your hub from day to night.

Because we know just how important it is to keep little ones entertained, we’ve created our very own in-room Borrow Boxes – treasure troves of fun and inspirational goodies to keep kiddie boredom at bay.

We’ll pop one into your room when you add a child on to your booking, and when you’re ready to set off on your merry way, simply pack it back up and we’ll look after it until the next little borrower arrives.

We really do love dogs – lots. A handful of our bedrooms are dog-friendly, so if you choose to bring your beloved pet pooch along for the ride, we’ll make sure they get the VIP treatment. Up to two pups can stay with you (in one of our dog-friendly bedrooms) for an additional £20 per night.

Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Farnham?

We love where we live, and we just know you will fall in love with the place too. We think a stay of two nights is pretty perfect. A little less? You’ll have a great time (we promise), but there’s just so much to see and do in Surrey that you’ll wish you had an extra night with us. Staying for longer? We’ll give you all the hints and tips to make sure Farnham and surrounding areas is on your places to re-visit list, time and time again.

What are the best things to do in Farnham?

There’s so much to do. There’s the Farnham must-sees, like Farnham Museum, the castel or for animal lovers, Birdworld and the idyllic Alice Holt Forest. And then there are those simple must-dos like wandering the independent shops of Farnham, day trip to Guildford and of course, simply exploring the Surrey Countryside. And we love to share personal recommendations, so feel free to ask us when you’re here. We’re a super friendly bunch.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our charming pub (she’s a real beauty) to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple. Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back. Check-out is by 11am.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

We’ve got a handful of family-friendly bedrooms. Kids under 2 stay for free. 2-16 years are £15 per night.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

Just add your dog to your booking (up to two pups can stay with you for £20 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a VIP welcome with a doggy hamper full of tasty tail-wagging treats, a doggy bed or blanket and bowl.

What time is breakfast?

Brekkie is served from 7.30am on weekdays, and 8am on weekends (we all deserve a little lie-in). If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you cant quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Getting Here

Do you have any parking?

Unfortunately we don’t due to our high-street location, however there is plenty of on-street parking (free after 6pm and before 8am). Alternatively there are plenty of long-stay car parks just a short stroll away.

How do I get to you via public transport?

We’re a 11-minute (gentle downhill) walk from Farnham train station. Heading in via the airport? Heathrow Airport is just a 55-minute car ride away.

Booking Bits

Can I cancel my booking?

We understand that plans sometimes change, so we try to make our booking policies super flexible. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. If you cancel outside of this time or don’t show up, we’re sorry, but we’ll have to charge you for the first night of your stay. The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-refundable and non-amendable.

Can I make changes to my booking?

You can make changes to your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. This includes changes to your package, room and extras (as long as it’s available). The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-amendable.

Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Of course. When booking online, you have the option to send an invoice in step 2. Missed this step? Not to worry, just ask at Reception and the team will email you a copy. Checked out already? Pop us an email and we’ll send one right over.
